West Palm Beach quilt Exhibition: “Art of the Needle: Masterpiece Quilts from the Shelburne Museum,” features 40 quilts from the Vermont museum’s permanent collection, through Sept. 10 at the Norton Museum of Art, 1451 S. Olive Ave., West Palm Beach.

QC to stage orchid and garden show 
Orchid growers or plain hobbyists or aficionados are invited to an Orchid and Garden Show at the Lagoon Island Orchidarium Park at the Quezon City Hall complex, from August 30 to September 11, with Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) Secretary Angelo Reyes as guest of honor at the opening rites.
